Born in Egypt and raised in Australia, Monna has always been fascinated by cultural differences and how they manifest themselves in fashion, design and art. While studying fashion design at university, she worked with many of Australia’s top hair and make-up artists as a model for Australia’s premier agency, Chadwicks. She then went on to study at the prestigious Napoleon Perdis Make-up Academy.

An HD Media makeup specialist, Monna is known for  clean, natural looks. Multi-talented, she has strong Hair Styling, Airbrushing and light SFX skills, making her a versatile and creative artist. With a sophisticated eye Monna is detail oriented and capable of working with a wide array of clients. As a crew member she brings a good natured ease to set, valued for her efficiency, reliability and professionalism.

Based in Los Angeles, Monna has worked in all makeup genres, from Editorial and Red Carpet, to Commercial/T.V and from Music Videos to Theatrical even Cirque productions. 

Over the years she's had the privileged of working with many incredible photographers, directors, and celebrities, including Rob Lowe, Hillary Duff, Jessica Biel, Dustin Hoffman, Barbra Streisand, Alec Baldwin, MUSE, 5 Seconds of Summer, and Natasha Bedingfield to name a few.

Monna has a sophisticated eye and a skillset capable of working with a wide array of clients. She is a detail oriented, accomplished and a tirelessly creative makeup artist. Her work enhances natural beauty, commands attention and always surprises.
